Final Year Show, Art exhibition in C.I.T
2. What is the problem/opportunity/gap in the field that your project will address?
Allowing users into the story creation process, with the possibility of their story being made into a short film.
3. Which research projects, commercial products, or creative projects have had an influence on your proposed project?
Humans of New york, Curiosty creative, Museum on main street, Las Vegas. Vol.1. These are all projects that use peoples stories to create a new product.
4. Who are the stakeholders connected to your project?
Media, department, users who submit their stories, anyone involved in making the final film.
5. Who are the primary and/or secondary users/audience of your project?
The writers of the stories and those who come to watch the final film at the exhibition. Also anyone who has access to the website as they can see what stories have been submitted.
6. What preferred methodology will you use to develop your project?
Research relevant projects, concept development, appropriate testing and adaptations to the project based on feedback.
7. What methods might be relevant in to the development and implementation of your project?
Research, holding focus groups, testing prototypes.
8. Will your project serve a function?
Not exactly, the function of my project is to create a new and interesting way of developing a short film. It will hopefully be entertaining to those who are involved in during the process and also those who will get to see the final product
9. If you project does not serve a function what is its purpose?
Its purpose is to allow anyone who want to be apart of creating a film. To help them get in touch with their creative side and to explore their abilities in story writing.
10. What media will your project incorporate?
Video, sound design, written word, interface design.
11. What tools and technologies will your project employ?
Video recording equipment, editing software, interface design software, photography, animation.
12. How would you describe your project as a thing?
My project is a platform that allows users to explore their creative ability in story writing which will lead to the development of a short film.
